Jesus writes to the church at Laodicea and accuses them of being complacent, apathetic, lukewarm. The church today seems to be in a similar position. The church is looking more and more like the culture rather than speaking the truth of God’s word to it. This message speaks to the issues that Jesus called out.

If you were to look up the definition for “Fireproof” you would find: capable of resisting damage by fire; to make resistant to fire. We put ourselves at risk when we stay outside of God’s principles and plan for our lives. However, if we want to be in a strong, healthy relationship with the Lord, we must come to him in humility and confession. We can then fireproof our lives. It doesn’t mean we can’t get “burned” but we are in a much better position to resist those temptations that can burn us.
